Week 4 / February 22nd–February 27th

Quiz 1 is on Thursday, March 3rd from 7:30-9:30pm. It will cover lectures L1-L7 plus labs 1 and 2. There will be a quiz review on Tuesday, March 1st from 7:30-9:30pm. For more details please see this piazza post.

Week 3 / February 14th–February 20th

Lab 1 is due at 11:59pm on Thursday, February 17th. Don't forget to sign up for a schedule checkoff for lab 1. The checkoff is due by Wednesday, February 23rd. Then lab 2 is due on Thursday, February 24th.

Due to the holiday next week, there will be no lecture on Tuesday, February 22nd, and no recitation on Wednesday, February 23rd. Enjoy your long weekend.

Week 1 / January 31st–February 6th

The lab setup and bash tutorial sessions have been moved from 32-083 to 34-301. Please make note of this room change. The times are still the same: Wednesday and Thursday from 7-8. The sessions will be the same so you can attend either one.

Welcome to the Spring 2022 semester of 6.004!

The first lecture for 6.004 is on Tuesday, February 1st. Our lectures are every Tuesday and Thursday from 1-2PM in 32-123. Lectures will be taught by Silvina Hanono Wachman, Song Han, and Daniel Sanchez. Recitations are on Wednesdays and Fridays and they are taught by our course TAs. Recitations are offered throughout the day from 10am-4pm so everyone should be able to fit it into their schedule. Recitations will review material taught in the previous lecture by go over concrete problems that make sue of the new material. The first recitation will be on Wednesday, February 2nd.

If you are unsure of your recitation assignment, you can look it up via the View Recitation tool that should appear under your username in the toplevel menu. Note that recitations R11 and R12 have been cancelled so students who were preregistered there have been moved to another recitation. If you have a conflict with your assigned recitation, or you don't have a recitation assignment, you can use the same page to sign up for a different recitation provided that there is room in the other recitation.

Lab 1 will be released on Thursday afternoon around 3PM and the lab will begin to be staffed as of this Wednesday. If you have questions in the meantime, please post them to piazza.
